[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Dongbu Construction has thrown down the gauntlet to introduce the 'Centreville' apartment complex for the first time in the Jeonju area.

On the 13th, Dongbu Construction announced that it has officially entered the competition to be selected as the contractor for the Jonggwangdae 2 District project, which will provide 530 units in Inhudoong 1-ga, a traditional residential area of Jeonju.

Recently, Dongbu Construction has been expanding its order range to regional hubs such as Busan and Daegu. Following the successful sale with a subscription competition rate of 120 to 1 at Daegu Beomeo Centreville, it also recorded a high competition rate of 92 to 1 at Duryu Centreville The City.

A Dongbu Construction official said, "Our goal is to launch the Centreville brand in Jeonju following Daegu and Busan," adding, "We will compete with differentiated designs and unprecedented business conditions."

Dongbu Construction has proposed ▲ Jeonju's first sky bridge ▲ 105m mega-scale gate ▲ curtain wall and other spectacular exterior features ▲ hotel-style community facilities such as swimming pools and saunas,

▲ construction cost of 4.25 million KRW per 3.3㎡ ▲ payment of maintenance fees one year after move-in ▲ 100% LTV for relocation expenses ▲ fixed construction costs without increases due to geological conditions.

It is analyzed that appropriate construction costs, differentiated designs, and Dongbu Construction's financial structure could positively influence the selection of the contractor. Founded in 1969, Dongbu Construction has achieved the industry's lowest debt ratio under a debt-free management policy. In the past two years, it ranked second in public orders and has an order backlog of 4 trillion KRW. Recently, it signed financial business agreements with Woori Bank and others to establish broad financing options.

Dongbu Construction expresses confidence in the bidding competition based on over 50 years of construction technology and extensive redevelopment experience involving more than 45,000 households. Since launching Centreville in 2001, it has won several residential brand awards, including the Korea Architecture Culture Award, Korea Apartment Brand Award, and Residential Excellence Award, which is also a strength.

A Dongbu Construction official emphasized, "We have been continuously developing and applying technologies that customers are most sensitive to recently, such as antivirus, fine dust reduction, noise prevention between floors, and security," adding, "We will create Jeonju's best brand apartment with high value."
