'Crazy About Travel', Measures Announced After Pornography Controversy... "We Will Rebuild Anew"

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The travel information channel 'Yeohaeng-e Michida' announced measures on the 12th regarding the controversy over obscene materials.

This is the first statement made about two months after controversy arose over illegal sexual footage posted on the channel's official social network service (SNS) accounts, and after CEO Jo Jun-gi died by suicide.

On the afternoon of the same day, Yeohaeng-e Michida stated through its official Instagram and Facebook, "We have been notified by judicial authorities that this case has been closed due to 'no prosecution'."

Yeohaeng-e Michida emphasized, "We have completed sexual ethics education for all employees to prevent similar incidents from recurring," and added, "To fundamentally improve, we have formed a 'Recurrence Prevention Committee' with external experts, and we will continuously inspect and improve our internal systems according to the measures prepared by the committee."

They continued, "We sincerely apologize once again to everyone who felt discomfort and disappointment due to this incident," and added, "We will strive to be reborn anew to earn the trust of all who have supported us."
