Baobab Healthcare Wins Grand Prize at 'Innopolis Campus Demo Day'

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Baobab Healthcare announced on the 11th that it won the Grand Prize at the ‘Small Giant R&D Special Zone Innopolis Campus Joint Demo Day’ event held on the 10th.

This event was held for the first time this year to select the best startup among 12 companies recommended from six Small Giant Special Zones: Gimhae, Jinju, Changwon, Pohang, Ansan, and Cheongju.

The selected startups were discovered by key regional technology institutions through the Innopolis Campus project over seven months starting from April, showcasing excellent technological capabilities in collaboration with local universities.

Baobab Healthcare received the Grand Prize for its 3D bioprinting technology. Located at Hanyang University ERICA in the Ansan Small Giant Special Zone, Baobab Healthcare was highly evaluated for its diverse business portfolio utilizing 3D bioprinting technology, including artificial skin, bone graft materials, and blood vessels.

Meanwhile, at this event hosted by the Daejeon Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation, Flask, which possesses technology capable of motion capture using only video, won the Grand Prize. BioQ, developing allergy diagnostic kits for pets, was awarded the Excellence Prize.
