'Pro-Trump' Fox News Also Recognizes Biden as 'President-Elect'

US Media Outlets Focused on Biden's Election Victory

[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Major U.S. media outlets on the 7th (local time) swiftly reported that Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, won the U.S. presidential election. Even the pro-Trump Fox News acknowledged Biden as the president-elect.

'Pro-Trump' Fox News Also Recognizes Biden as 'President-Elect'

The Associated Press (AP), considered the standard for confirming U.S. presidential election results, stated on the 7th (local time) that "Biden defeated President Donald Trump to become the 46th president of the United States," referring to Biden as the 'president-elect' and treating his victory as a fait accompli.

The New York Times (NYT) reported, "Ending four turbulent years under Trump, Biden has claimed the presidency," while The Washington Post (WP) stated, "Voters rejected a divisive and bullying president, leading to Biden's victory over Trump."

Fox News, a pro-Trump outlet that was the first to declare Trump's defeat in Arizona during the vote count, also projected that "Biden will win Nevada and Pennsylvania on this day, securing the White House," referring to him as the president-elect.

The shift in Fox News's stance is widely analyzed as a move preparing for the post-Trump era.
