On the 4th (local time), IT tipster Jon Prosser stated, "Samsung Electronics will unveil the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra models on January 14 next year," adding, "Pre-orders for the Galaxy S21 will start on the 14th of the same month, and the release will be on the 29th."
The colors of the Galaxy S21 will be black, white, gray, silver, violet, and pink. IT tipster Max Weinbach also agreed that it will be in 'January.'
Summarizing the specifications of the Galaxy S21 released so far, it is expected to be launched in three models, the same as its predecessor, and to support the S Pen recognition feature. The higher-end models are also expected to increase the screen refresh rate (number of screen updates per second) up to 144Hz.
For the Ultra model, the rear camera will have up to 108 million pixels, and the front camera will have 40 million pixels, the same as the previous model. The camera module design has changed to be more closely integrated with the rear, reducing the 'katuktu (camera protrusion).' The bezel thickness will also be thinner, and the front camera size will be smaller. It will be equipped with Qualcomm's latest smartphone chipset, the Snapdragon 875, and Android 11.
