K-OTC Market Approves New Registration of 'Tooniplay'... Trading Starts from the 5th

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The Korea Financial Investment Association announced on the 3rd that it approved TooniPlay's new registration on the K-OTC market and held a commemorative event.


Founded in 2015, TooniPlay is a small venture company primarily engaged in developing mobile games utilizing domestic intellectual property such as comics and webtoons. Through the publisher PANGSKY, it services the webtoon-based mobile game "Gosu" and recently expanded its service area to Taiwan.


TooniPlay stated that it is currently preparing a game based on the comic "Yeolhyeol Gangho" and is developing a sports game platform to expand its business scope.


As of the recent fiscal year-end, total assets amounted to 2.054 billion KRW, total liabilities were 1.806 billion KRW, total equity was 248 million KRW, and operating loss recorded was 408 million KRW.


With TooniPlay's new registration approval, 11 companies entered the K-OTC market in 2020, increasing the total number of companies to 135.


TooniPlay will be tradable through securities firms' Home Trading Systems (HTS) starting from the 5th, and on the first trading day, transactions can occur within a range of 30% to 500% of the net asset value per share. Thereafter, the price limit range will be ±30% of the previous day's weighted average price.
