[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Korea Invention Promotion Association announced on the 3rd that it will participate in the Social Relay Hand in Hand campaign to support social economy enterprises struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The Hand in Hand campaign was initiated last April at the suggestion of the Social Enterprise Research Institute. It operates by purchasing and delivering products from social economy enterprises, whose sales have declined due to the spread of COVID-19, in a relay manner, and by sharing messages of support for overcoming COVID-19 through SNS.
Ko Junho, the full-time vice president of the Korea Invention Promotion Association, who was nominated by the Korea Patent Strategy Development Institute to participate in the campaign, selected Jeonbuk National University, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation as subsequent institutions, and plans to deliver gifts purchased through the Social Economy Enterprise Product Mall.
Vice President Ko said, “I hope the Hand in Hand campaign can contribute, even in a small way, to overcoming the national economic crisis caused by COVID-19,” and added, “We will actively participate in meaningful campaigns to continue delivering messages to our society.”
