Selection of 20 Companies by the 30th with 2-Year Tax Audit Exemption... 1,458 Jobs Created Over the Past 9 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu District Office (Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the '2020 Gangnam-gu Job Creation Excellent Company Certification Program' until the 30th, selecting 20 outstanding companies to provide certificates and incentives.
Since 2011, Gangnam-gu has been implementing a certification program to discover and support excellent local SMEs that contribute to job creation, selecting 114 companies and helping 1,458 people find employment.
Incentives include ▲ preferential treatment when selected for SME development fund support and youth internship participation ▲ exemption from local tax audits for 2 years (subject to change depending on real estate ownership), among others.
Selected companies must maintain their employment numbers for 2 years.
Eligibility requires SMEs with their main office in Gangnam-gu for the past 2 years, excluding entertainment and luxury industries. Applicants must meet either ▲ a 5% employment growth rate and an increase of 5 or more employees in the past year (for companies with 30 to 299 regular employees) or ▲ a 5% employment growth rate and an increase of 3 or more employees in the past year (for companies with 5 to 29 regular employees).
Companies wishing to apply can visit the Job Policy Division in person or submit by registered mail.
