[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Lotte Construction has been selected as the contractor for the reconstruction project of District 6, Hyomok 1-dong, Dong-gu, Daegu, together with Kolon Global.
According to industry sources on the 1st, a general meeting to select the contractor for the reconstruction project of District 6, Hyomok 1-dong was held yesterday at the Daegu Inter-Burgo Hotel Convention Hall. Lotte Construction and Kolon Global won the bid with 311 out of 349 votes, achieving a voting rate of 89.1%.
This project involves reconstruction with a construction cost of approximately 338.1 billion KRW on a site area of about 74,997㎡ located at 51, Ayang-ro 52-gil, Dong-gu, Daegu. Through this, 18 apartment buildings ranging from two basement floors to 15 above-ground floors will be supplied, totaling 1,386 households.
Lotte Construction and Kolon Global applied innovative designs differentiated by curtain wall looks and plan to secure ample parking spaces, a sky lounge with views of the Kumho River, and various community facilities.
A Lotte Construction official said, "We believe the association trusted us due to our abundant order records and proven construction capabilities in Daegu," adding, "We will do our best to meet the expectations of the association that trusted and chose Lotte Construction."
Meanwhile, Lotte Construction recorded a total urban maintenance project order amount of 2.6325 trillion KRW this year, including the redevelopment of B-05 District in Jung-gu, Ulsan (160.2 billion KRW), redevelopment of Beomil 2 District in Busan (503 billion KRW), redevelopment of Galhyeon 1 District (925.5 billion KRW), redevelopment of Apsan Jumbo in Daegu (197.1 billion KRW), reconstruction of Gao-dong 2 District in Daejeon (201.6 billion KRW), redevelopment of Myeongnyun in Daegu (181.3 billion KRW), and remodeling of Hyundai Apartments in Ichon-dong (294.7 billion KRW).
