[Concall] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering "No Discussion on Conditional Approval for Daewoo Shipbuilding"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering stated in its Q3 earnings conference call that "The European Union (EU) is currently postponing the merger review with Daewoo Shipbuilding due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)" and added, "We cannot provide detailed information on the timing of the decision."

They continued, "There have been no discussions with the respective countries' fair trade commissions regarding the conditional approval mentioned in the media," and added, "We will promptly communicate once the merger review results are announced."
