Saeyulchon Jeil Clinic, Warmth with Free Flu Vaccinations for 2 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Sae Yulchon Jeil Clinic (Director Jeong Sang-hoon) located in Yulchon-myeon, Yeosu City, is leading the way in creating a healthy local community by supporting free flu vaccinations again this year, following last year, to bring hope to the local community stagnated by COVID-19.

According to Yulchon-myeon Office on the 29th, this vaccination was conducted targeting residents vulnerable to medical services due to economic burdens and employees of related organizations located in Yulchon-myeon.

Yulchon-myeon Office connected 180 low-income residents in the area who were not eligible for free flu vaccination.

Director Jeong Sang-hoon said, “With the support of Yeosu City, the number of free flu vaccination recipients has expanded. Although we practiced a smaller sharing compared to last year, I am glad to be able to give back even a little to the local residents,” and added, “I will continue to think about social contribution practices.”

Opened in 2017, Sae Yulchon Jeil Clinic strives to improve welfare services for marginalized groups and establish a medical safety net.

Lee Jae-jong, head of Yulchon-myeon, expressed gratitude to Sae Yulchon Jeil Clinic for providing free flu vaccinations for two consecutive years at a time when public health management is more important than ever due to COVID-19, and said, “Let’s continue to cooperate between the public and private sectors to create a happy and healthy Yeosu City for residents.”
