[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation announced on the 29th that it held a 'Integrity and Ethics Workshop' jointly with its subsidiaries to promote a culture of integrity and ethical management.
The event was attended by the president of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, as well as CEOs and employee representatives from its subsidiaries Yeoul FMC and KR&C. They jointly expressed their commitment to renewal to become an institution continuously trusted by the public by drafting and proclaiming a 'Pledge to Practice Ethical Management' concerning fair business conduct and efforts to eradicate corruption.
All employees participated in the event online to prevent COVID-19. To autonomously spread a culture of integrity within the corporation, expert lectures and integrity-themed theatrical performances based on everyday life cases were also conducted.
President Wi Sung-baek of KDIC said, "The trust of the people begins with the ethical awareness of all executives and employees," adding, "We will build a financial stability shield on a solid foundation of integrity and ethics."
