The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced on the 29th that it held the 130th Defense Acquisition Program Promotion Committee meeting and reviewed and approved the revised basic strategy for promoting the joint tactical data link (Link-16) performance upgrade project and the decision on the model for the E-737 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) and Link-16 performance upgrade project.

The E-737 IFF and Link-16 performance upgrade project is aimed at upgrading the performance of IFF and Link-16 to ensure interoperability of the E-737 airborne control aircraft during combined operations between South Korea and the United States.
