Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, 'Employee Donation Sharing Ceremony' Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 29th that its employees directly donated items to the vocational rehabilitation facility for the disabled, 'Goodwill Store.'

The donated items include over 1,700 pieces such as clothing, accessories, and home appliances. These items will be sold at the Goodwill Store, and the proceeds will be used to support employment projects for disabled workers.

This campaign was conducted contactlessly by installing unmanned donation boxes in the office from the 19th to the 28th to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Goodwill Store is a business that refurbishes and sells items donated by companies or individuals and is one of the employment projects for the disabled operated by the social welfare corporation Milal Welfare Foundation.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free has been conducting employee donation campaigns, including delivering over 1,100 donated items to 'Areumdawoon Gage' last November.
