[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 29th that it has signed a 'Business Agreement for Supporting Water Companies in Incheon Metropolitan City' with Incheon Metropolitan City and the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association to support water companies.


According to this agreement, Kibo, Incheon City, and the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association will actively cooperate to provide funding and technical support to small and medium-sized enterprises operating in related industries to supply clean and safe tap water that Incheon citizens can drink with confidence.


Kibo will actively support small and medium-sized enterprises possessing water treatment-related technologies through preferential guarantees and technology transfer, Incheon City will discover water companies with excellent technologies and provide management stabilization funds, and the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association plans to promote education and marketing to strengthen the capabilities of technical personnel.


Kim Jeong-hang, head of Kibo's Incheon Regional Headquarters, stated, "Through Kibo's active support for technology companies related to water treatment, we will strive to restore the trust of Incheon citizens by supplying clean and clear tap water, creating an opportunity to generate social value that the public can feel."
