[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Chang-won] Jeju Aerospace Museum (JAM) announced on the 28th that it will operate the "Blue Moon Observation Experience with Byeolboka" program on the 31st.

This "Blue Moon Observation Experience with Byeolboka" program was planned to observe the October major astronomical phenomenon, the "Blue Moon," through "Byeolboka," the only mobile observatory introduced in Jeju Province by the museum.

The "Blue Moon" refers to the third full moon among four full moons in one season, and recently it is widely known as the second full moon when two full moons appear in one month.

The program is scheduled to take place from 7 PM to 9 PM at the museum's outdoor plaza, and observation may be canceled in case of bad weather on the day.

The participation fee is free, and the program will be conducted for 200 pre-registered participants.

Applications can be made by phone until the day before the event, the 30th, and detailed information can be found on the JAM website (www.jdc-jam.com).

All participants must wear masks and can participate only after a temperature check.

Meanwhile, the Jeju Aerospace Museum operates a free "Solar Prominence Observation Program" at Byeolboka from 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays depending on daytime weather conditions, and on the 31st, it will also operate a free "Solar Prominence Observation Experience" during the daytime hours (2 PM to 4 PM).
