Support for Haneul Dream Foundation's Basic Aviation Workforce Training Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 28th that it conducted a maintenance site tour for students of aviation-specialized high schools over two days starting from the 27th.
This tour event was held in cooperation with the Sky Dream Foundation's Basic Aircraft Workforce Training Project, with about 40 students from Jeongseok Aviation Science High School and Gangho Aviation High School participating.
The participating students visited Jeju Air's Maintenance Headquarters, toured each department, then visited the worksite where aircraft maintenance was underway. They received explanations about various components and observed the disassembly and assembly of aircraft wheels, gaining indirect experience of maintenance. Additionally, the students had a Q&A session with on-site maintenance technicians.
A Jeju Air official stated, "We conducted this tour for aviation-specialized high school students to support the Basic Aircraft Workforce Training Project by the Sky Dream Foundation, a scholarship foundation created through cooperation among the government, public institutions, and the private sector," adding, "We hope that the actual maintenance site tour and Q&A session prepared for future maintenance talent will be a valuable experience."
