[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Woomi Construction announced on the 28th that it will sell units in 'Woomirin Ecoforet,' being built in Sambong District, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk.
This complex is located in Sambong District B-1 Block. It consists of 9 buildings, ranging from 1 basement floor to 25 above-ground floors, with a total of 818 households. By exclusive area, it is composed of ▲69㎡ 194 units ▲79㎡ 34 units ▲84㎡A 516 units ▲84㎡B 74 units. The highly preferred 84㎡ housing type accounts for more than 70% of the total. It is the last complex subject to a one-year resale restriction on pre-sale rights within Sambong District.
The site where the complex is built is a middle area connecting Jeonju Eco City and the industrial complexes located in Wanju. To the north, it is close to industrial complexes such as Jeonju Science General Industrial Complex and Jeollabuk-do Science Research Complex, making it convenient for living near workplaces. Using Gwahak-ro next to the district allows quick access to downtown Jeonju, enabling residents to enjoy urban living simultaneously.
The complex features wide distances between buildings, with all units mainly facing south, and a slab-type and 4-bay design that provides excellent lighting and ventilation. Utilizing the wide spacing between buildings, two plazas equipped with water features and grassy yards will be arranged. Designed as a car-free complex on the ground level, pedestrian safety is enhanced. The Air-Clynn system, which manages air quality monitoring and efficient reduction, will also be applied. Community facilities include an indoor gymnasium, fitness center, indoor golf practice range, gender-separated reading rooms, and a Cafe-rin where neighbors can relax together, all highly preferred by residents.
Sambong District is being developed on a 915,000㎡ site covering Samnye-eup and Bongdong-eup areas in Wanju-gun. In the future, about 6,000 residential units and various commercial facilities, as well as elementary and middle schools, health centers, fire stations, police stations, and libraries will be established. Social spaces will also be created. Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) and Wanju-gun have agreed to create three buildings (1,182㎡) in Sambong District as spaces for realizing social values. In these open social spaces, residents and the local community will collaborate to pursue regional mutual growth. Wanju-gun also implements various happiness support policies such as relocation, marriage/pregnancy, childbirth/childcare, youth/elderly, and returning to farming or rural areas. In addition to relocation incentives, childbirth incentives of up to 6 million KRW are provided, and medical expenses for high-risk pregnant women are supported up to 3 million KRW.
The subscription schedule starts with special supply on November 3, followed by first priority on the 4th and second priority on the 5th. The announcement of successful applicants will be on November 11, and contracts will be signed over three days from November 23 to 25. The model house is located at 1358-6, Songcheon-dong 2-ga, Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, and visits require prior reservation through the Woomirin website.
