"Many Bizarre Acts Unfit for Broadcast"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Yang Jin-ho, former chairman of Korea Future Technology, who faced social criticism in 2018 for bizarre 'gapjil assault' incidents, reportedly registered his marriage while in prison after being detained.
A whistleblower, Mr. A, who exposed Yang Jin-ho’s atrocities, stated in an interview with CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' on the 27th, "The person who registered the marriage held the position of manager at the company. He hardly worked at the company and lived with Chairman Yang, but after registering the marriage, he joined as vice president of the holding company. Later, he even took over as CEO of WEDISK and FileNori. Through this person, Yang is effectively continuing to operate the company from prison."
Mr. A added, "Yang Jin-ho personally signed and sent personnel orders. He continues to receive business reports," and said, "The company’s revenue last year was about 22.5 billion KRW combined from WEDISK and FileNori." He further noted that this revenue comes from illegal sexual exploitation materials uploaded on webhard sites.
He continued, "(Yang Jin-ho) manages the company formally through newly appointed CEOs," and said, "As the owner holding 100% of the shares, prison management is fully possible."
Mr. A also said, "Yang and his wife withdrew about 20 billion KRW in cash from last year’s revenue."
Additionally, the broadcast revealed videos of Yang Jin-ho slapping employees at the time, photos of a female employee having his name tattooed on her leg, and audio of him wielding a Japanese sword at a company outing and ordering employees to shoot arrows at live chickens.
Mr. A said, "There are also shocking photos of Yang Jin-ho putting a knife or saw to a female employee’s neck. The level is such that it cannot be disclosed to the media," adding, "Yang liked to record and keep photos and videos of these bizarre acts."
He added, "All the allegations reported in the media after Yang’s detention have been proven true. During the investigation, previously undisclosed crimes such as special rape and marijuana use were confirmed and all were prosecuted," and said, "Other confirmed cases include distribution of sexual crime videos and obscene materials, embezzlement, wiretapping employees’ phones, tax evasion, and methamphetamine use."
Finally, Mr. A expressed concern, saying, "The perpetrators who participated in the group assault on the professor, a male classmate of Yang’s ex-wife, will be released next month," and "Yang has a lot of money, so it’s uncertain what he might order others to do. I hope the trial is concluded quickly."
Meanwhile, Yang Jin-ho was sentenced to seven years in prison in the first trial on June 1 and is currently appealing the verdict.
Previously, Yang was detained and indicted on December 5, 2018, on charges including special rape, habitual assault, violation of the Narcotics Control Act (marijuana), violation of the Animal Protection Act, and violation of the Firearms and Ammunition Act.
