[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] NanoEntek (CEO Jeong Chan-il) announced on the 27th that it has registered a US patent for the 'Sample Preprocessing System and Its Control Method' for the FREND system.
A major factor causing errors in on-site diagnostics is that the experimenter manually adjusts sample injection volume, mixing, reaction time, and so on. The newly registered US patent addresses this issue by configuring an automated sample preprocessing system, enhancing the reliability and convenience of testing, and enabling efficient operation of laboratory personnel.
A NanoEntek representative stated that the automated preprocessing system is being used for some of the more challenging hormone-related items among the 18 diagnostic items of the FREND system. They expect that through the advancement of this system, on-site diagnostics will become simple and accurate even for items that were previously difficult to diagnose on-site due to high complexity.
