Jeju-si Appoints 10 Officials Approved for Promotion to Deputy Director

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Chang-won] Jeju City announced on the 26th that it has promoted and appointed 10 officials to the position of Section Chief in Jeju City for the first half of this year.

The promoted officials are civil servants who completed the promotion leader training course at the Local Autonomy Human Resources Development Institute after their promotion to Section Chief was approved in August, and were appointed as Section Chiefs upon completion of the training.

On the same day, the city held a ceremony in the main conference room of Jeju City Hall, where the promotion candidates and key executives attended and received their appointment letters.

A city official stated, “By officially appointing the approved Section Chief promotion candidates, they will play a significant role in the operation of Jeju City’s organization and in handling major pending issues.”
