The Hongcheon (Seoul-Yangyang) Service Area on the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway, operated by Korea Expressway Corporation, announced that it is conducting a traffic accident prevention campaign by installing banners produced by Korea Expressway Corporation, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the National Police Agency in celebration of the autumn foliage season.
The banners include correct seatbelt wearing methods, secondary accident prevention measures such as safety actions in case of an accident, and guidelines for preventing drowsy driving accidents.
Min Byeong-o, the service area manager, said, “We created the banners to contribute even a little to reducing traffic accidents,” and added that they will strive to become a highway service area that cares for customers' safety.
