[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Won-guk) announced on the 26th that it will operate an emergency treatment experience class to reduce deaths from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or sudden cardiac arrest occurring in the jurisdiction.
About 20% of all annual deaths are caused by circulatory system diseases, and since the number of patients with these diseases surges in winter, special caution is required from now on.
Muan Fire Station is operating and promoting experience classes for residents who wish to increase the rate of emergency treatment and minimize physical damage to patients in preparation for the increase in cardiac arrest occurrences caused by circulatory system (heart and cerebrovascular, etc.) diseases.
The experience class consists of theoretical education on causes, warning signs, and prevention methods of stroke, as well as CPR and emergency treatment hands-on training.
For detailed information on the experience class and fire safety education participation, inquiries can be made to the Prevention and Safety Division of Muan Fire Station.
Fire Sergeant Jo Hee-ju, the education officer at Muan Fire Station, said, “We ask for active interest in CPR and emergency treatment education so that people can respond calmly in emergency situations.”
