[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Sohn Kyung-shik, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation, visited the funeral hall of Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee on the afternoon of the 26th and told the bereaved family, "I asked them to lead Samsung well."

On the same afternoon, Chairman Sohn visited the funeral hall at Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Chairman Lee's funeral was held, to console the bereaved family, including Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong.

After paying his respects, Chairman Sohn responded to reporters' questions about his relationship with the late Chairman Lee by saying, "I know him well because I also worked at Samsung."

He added, "He was a very thoughtful person," and recalled, "I believe he made successful decisions because he had a solid background when making important decisions."
