Gwangju Buk-gu to Operate 'Youth Hope Lectures' Starting from the 27th


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Moon In) announced on the 25th that it will operate the ‘Youth Hope Lecture’ to learn about social changes in the post-COVID-19 era and local creators.


The lecture, titled ‘Growing as a Local Creator in the Post-COVID-19 Era,’ will be held every Tuesday from the 27th of this month to the 10th of next month at the Buk-gu Youth Center.


On the 27th, Lee Seulbi, CEO of Lala Planning, will participate as an instructor to lecture on the concept, basic knowledge, and utilization of the untact platform (Zoom).


Especially on the 3rd of next month, Professor Mo Jongrin of Yonsei University, author of ‘Humanities Propose a Lifestyle,’ will give a special lecture titled ‘Finding Direction Locally in the Post-COVID-19 Era,’ providing time to reflect on the changing daily life and the work and life of future generations.


On the 10th of next month, Lee Jeonghyun, CEO of 1% Workshop, will conduct a lecture on ‘Planning Local Youth Events Untact.’


The Youth Hope Lecture is open to all youth and local residents, and applications can be made through the Buk-gu Youth Center website.


Buk-gu plans to operate the lectures by combining on-site participation and untact communication (Zoom) to prevent COVID-19.


Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu said, “Through this lecture, I hope local youth will find various contents suitable for the post-COVID-19 era,” and added, “We will continue to develop and operate various programs so that the Buk-gu Youth Center can be used as an open communication channel for local youth.”
