Choi Kang Chang-min originally planned to hold the wedding on September 5th, but postponed it once due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Earlier, SM Entertainment, Choi Kang Chang-min's agency, stated in a wedding announcement, "Choi Kang Chang-min will marry his dating partner on September 5th. Out of consideration for the non-celebrity bride-to-be and both families, all detailed information regarding the wedding, such as the specific location and time, will be kept private. We ask for your kind understanding."
Choi Kang Chang-min also personally informed fans of the wedding news through a handwritten letter. He said, "I have been in a good relationship with the woman I am dating, built on mutual trust and faith, and naturally came to the decision that I want to spend the rest of my life with her."
He added, "I believe the path I am about to take carries greater responsibility than the path I have walked so far," and "I will do my best in every given task and moment more correctly than ever before."
Choi Kang Chang-min debuted as a member of TVXQ in December 2003 and has been actively working as a Hallyu star alongside fellow member Yunho for the past 17 years. He has received great love from fans with numerous hit songs such as "Hug," "O-Jung.Ban.Hap," and "Mirotic," and has also transformed into an actor, appearing in dramas like "Scholar Who Walks the Night" and "Paradise Ranch." In April, he released his first solo album and mini-album, "Chocolate."
