Gurye-gun to Operate 'Gurye Persimmon Direct Market' Starting from the 28th

‘Gurye Gam’ is widely known for its excellent coloration and very high sweetness due to the natural environment of Jirisan Mountain and Seomjingang River and the large temperature difference between day and night. The fertile soil results in firm flesh and excellent storability. It also boasts outstanding quality, having received the Top Fruit award in the persimmon category.

The ‘Gurye Gam’ direct transaction market, held for the sixth time this year, will be relocated to the newly established parking lot of the 5-day market to provide farmers with a stable sales channel, with about 90 farms expected to participate.
