On the 23rd, award recipients are taking a commemorative photo at the '2020 Long-term Care Benefit Provision Excellence Awards Ceremony' held at the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Director Jang Su-mok) held the 2020 Long-term Care Benefit Provision Best Practices Selection and Awards Ceremony on October 23rd at the first-floor auditorium of the headquarters.
The National Health Insurance Service annually holds contests and award events for best practices in long-term care benefit provision to share and disseminate various programs and cases from long-term care institutions, aiming to provide better services to elderly people in need of care and to enhance the professionalism of workers.
In this contest, the awards were divided into the long-term care institution category and the care worker category, selecting grand prize, excellence, and encouragement awards. Eleven outstanding cases, including "Smart Nursing Home System" and "She is My Life Senior," were chosen as winners.
Choi Oh-seok, director of Hyosung Senior Health Center, who won the grand prize in the long-term care institution category, said, "We will increase efficiency through the smartization of service provision and at the same time focus more on providing services to the elderly."
Park Myung-ok, a care worker at Ham-an Care Support Center who won the grand prize in the care worker category, said, "I think understanding and making efforts to grasp the characteristics of the elderly and providing services accordingly became a good example."
Jang Su-mok, director of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the long-term care institution personnel who are doing their best in the field of long-term care services despite the COVID-19 situation and to everyone who participated in this contest."
