"Must Listen to What Needs to Be Reformed in Our Party"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 23rd, Ha Tae-kyung, a member of the People Power Party, commented on former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop, who left the Democratic Party and said, "The People Power Party is a party that should reflect more than the Democratic Party," stating, "To stop the Moon Jae-in administration's unilateral rule and to correct the country's misguided direction, it is necessary to embrace and cooperate with rational progressives like former lawmaker Geum and the people."
On the same day, Ha said on Facebook, "With former lawmaker Geum's departure, there have been many remarks criticizing the Democratic Party within our party," adding, "However, a more important aspect is being overlooked."
Ha pointed out, "The Moon Jae-in administration and the Democratic Party are the worst ruling forces we have never experienced before," and criticized, "Their behavior of only looking at the extreme pro-Moon faction divides the people and drives the country into chaos."
Ha emphasized, "Rational figures among the progressive camp who supported the launch of the Moon Jae-in administration and many citizens are shaking their heads and turning away. However, they do not readily support or cooperate with the People Power Party," and added, "We must listen to people like former lawmaker Geum about what needs to be reformed in our party and carry out those reforms."
