[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon, Intern Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Amid a series of deaths following flu vaccinations, a conservative-leaning group has filed a complaint with the prosecution against Park Neung-hoo, Minister of Health and Welfare, and Jung Eun-kyung, Commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.

On the 23rd, the Liberty Korea Patriotic Corps and others held a press conference in front of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, announcing that they would accuse Minister Park, Commissioner Jung, Deputy Minister Kang Do-tae of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Deputy Commissioner Na Seong-woong of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, and Director Yang Dong-gyo of the Medical Safety Prevention Bureau of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency of charges including murder and professional negligence resulting in death.

They stated, "Although the flu vaccination should have been postponed for at least one week, they are driving the people of the Republic of Korea to death," and added, "Their attitude shows a disregard for the lives of the people and an evasion of responsibility."

In the complaint, they said, "The accused claim there is no connection between the vaccination and the deaths, but this year, an unprecedented incident occurred where the flu vaccine was exposed to room temperature, leading to the recall of 480,000 doses. Additionally, 615,000 doses were recalled due to the appearance of white sediment," and continued, "The number of people who received vaccines exposed to room temperature has continued to increase, contrary to the accused's announcements."

They further emphasized, "Although the possibility that vaccines exposed to room temperature or containing white sediment caused the deaths is considered low, this cannot be trusted," and stressed, "The accused have not fully identified which vaccine manufacturers' products among the vaccines produced, transported, and administered with national funds have problems."

They also argued, "By stating that the vaccine is not the cause of death, they failed to prevent vaccine-related death incidents," and claimed, "Those who have a duty to actively protect the lives of the people caused harm to the lives of the people and resulted in deaths due to their omission in failing to eliminate dangerous causes."
