'Buy Social' Campaign Event at Seongsan Art Hall Garosugil on the 31st

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City in Gyeongnam will hold a ‘Social Economy Market’ event on the 31st at Seongsan Art Hall Garosugil to support the sales of social economy enterprise products and overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Hosted by Changwon City and the Social Economy Support Center, this event is designed to realize social value, expand public consensus, and promote the Buy Social campaign event through securing sales channels and increasing sales of social economy enterprises, promoting enterprises, and publicizing social economy to citizens.
Not limited to product sales, various food sales, citizen participation experience activities, traditional Korean music performances, string trio, busking performances, magic shows, intangible cultural heritage vocal performers’ performances, and book concerts will be held.
Products sold and promoted at the market include bakery items, rice cakes, macarons, daily necessities, accessories, masks, rice, and other grains, all of which will be sold in packaged form. Eating on-site is prohibited.
Heo Seong-mu, Mayor of Changwon City, said, “I hope this will help increase sales and promotion of companies struggling due to COVID-19 and provide an opportunity for citizens to easily access and better understand social economy enterprise products through on-site sales.” He added, “We will do our best to create a city leading the social economy, which is emerging as a core future economic business.”
