[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The 4th volume of the Korea National Sport University Academic Liberal Arts Series, "Sports Diplomacy," has been published.
The book was planned by the Media Headquarters of Korea National Sport University and written by Yoon Kang-ro, Director of the International Sports Diplomacy Institute.
The book comprehensively explains the concept and practice of sports diplomacy, the reality of international sports diplomacy, and the future direction of Korean sports diplomacy. It also objectively examines the successes and failures of Korean sports diplomacy and faithfully organizes records from the field.
Director Yoon Kang-ro is a sports diplomacy expert who has extensively experienced the field of sports diplomacy. From 1982 to 2020, he was a living witness to Korean sports diplomacy on the world stage, working alongside three International Olympic Committee (IOC) presidents: Juan Antonio Samaranch, Jacques Rogge, and Thomas Bach. He has served as an adjunct professor at the graduate school of Korea National Sport University, Gangneung Kwandong University, and the University of Seoul, as well as a visiting professor at Renmin University of China.
