[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 23rd that it will launch five types of mid-to-high-end American wine "Parts & Hall" in the domestic market for the first time.
Parts & Hall is a winery established in 1988 in California, one of the representative wine regions in the United States. It specializes in producing the grape varieties "Pinot Noir" and "Chardonnay," which represent California wines.
The Parts & Hall wines introduced this time include three white wines?"Sonoma Coast Chardonnay," "Dutton Ranch Chardonnay," "Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Chardonnay"?and two red wines?"Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir," "Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Pinot Noir." They are scheduled to be sold nationwide at department stores and famous restaurants starting next month.
"Sonoma Coast Chardonnay" is fermented in oak barrels using wild yeast, with an impressive finish featuring almond and cinnamon aromas following an initial taste of acidity reminiscent of pineapple, guava, and lime. "Dutton Ranch Chardonnay" is also fermented in oak barrels using wild yeast and is characterized by acidity with apple-like aromas.
"Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Chardonnay" uses cultured yeast and is aged in oak barrels, then bottled without a separate refining process to enhance its flavor, featuring balanced acidity that leaves a long-lasting finish.
"Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir" leaves a complex finish with intense aromas of cherry, strawberry, and dried rose, along with acidity that fills the mouth. "Hyde Vineyard Napa Valley Pinot Noir" uses a blend of natural and cultured yeast, allowing you to fully experience the soft tannins characteristic of the Pinot Noir variety along with strawberry and rose scents.
