Lee Hee-jun Best Supporting Actor "Gained 25kg, Thankful to Wife Lee Hye-jung Who Ate Chicken With Me"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Lee Hee-joon from the movie 'Nam-san's Department Heads' and Lee Re from 'Peninsula' won the Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards at the Bu-il Film Awards.

Lee Hee-joon said at the Bu-il Film Awards, which was broadcast live on Naver TV on the 22nd, "I am grateful to the director who suggested 'Nam-san's Department Heads'."

He continued, "I think I was able to receive this thanks to everyone's hard work," adding, "I also thank my coach who helped me gain weight. And I am grateful to my wife Lee Hye-jung, who ate chicken with me every night. She works hard with childcare, and I thank and love her."

When asked, "How much weight did you gain and then lose?" Lee Hee-joon replied, "I gained 25kg and then lost 25kg again."

Lee Re was unable to attend due to filming schedules, so a representative from her agency accepted the award on her behalf.

Meanwhile, this year's Bu-il Film Awards ceremony was held without an audience at the BEXCO Auditorium in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
