According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 22nd, a woman in her 70s, Ms. A, living in Seongju, was vaccinated with a flu vaccine at a clinic in Chojeon-myeon around noon on the 20th, and was found dead at her home at 7:52 p.m. on the 21st.
In Andong as well, a woman in her 70s, Ms. B, died after receiving a flu vaccine the previous day.
Ms. B received a free flu vaccine at a local clinic around 3 p.m. on the 21st, stayed briefly at the hospital, and returned home with the help of a caregiver. Later, she was found collapsed alone at home and was transported to the hospital, but ultimately passed away at 6:47 p.m.
Cases of death following flu vaccination have continued since the 16th in Incheon, followed by Gochang, Daejeon, and Mokpo on the 20th, and Jeju, Daegu, Gwangmyeong, and Goyang on the 21st.
