Mudeungsan National Park Office Significantly Strengthens Patrols Within the Park During Autumn Season

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Mudeungsan National Park Office of the Korea National Park Service (Director Jeong Yongsang) announced on the 22nd that it will significantly strengthen patrols within the national park from the 26th of this month to the 8th of next month, the peak season for autumn foliage.

This patrol activity is conducted to prevent illegal acts that mainly occur in autumn, such as violations of drinking in prohibited areas, illegal parking, trespassing on unauthorized paths, night hiking, and smoking.

Additionally, since the risk of COVID-19 remains due to the concentration of visitors in the park during the foliage season, patrols and guidance activities in crowded visitor areas will also be intensified.
