[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 22nd that it will sell the '2021 Fit Firefighter Hope Sharing Calendar' until January 19th next year.
The Fit Firefighter calendar has been produced since 2015, and this is the 7th edition. The models for next year's calendar are 15 firefighters selected at the '9th Fit Firefighter Contest' held in June this year. In addition, photographer Oh Jung-seok, GS SHOP, and ELLE collaborated in the form of talent donation.
All proceeds from the calendar sales will be donated through the Hanlim Burn Foundation to support treatment costs for severe burn patients. So far, a total of 72,801 copies of the Fit Firefighter calendar have been sold, and the total proceeds and donations of 670 million KRW have been used to support treatment costs for 154 severe burn patients.
The calendar will be sold online through GS SHOP and 10x10, and offline at Kyobo Hottracks and 10x10 stores starting from the 30th. There are two types: wall-hanging and desk calendars, and the selling price is 11,900 KRW per copy, the same as last year, symbolizing the number 119.
The 'Fit Firefighter Hope Sharing Calendar Launch Event' to commemorate the release of the 2021 Fit Firefighter calendar will be held online for 15 minutes starting at 3 PM on the 30th of this month.
Shin Yeol-woo, head of the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters, said, "Various organizations and companies participated in the production process of the Fit Firefighter calendar as a form of social contribution," and added, "I hope that through the interest of many people, it will contribute to spreading a culture of hope sharing in our society."
