[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Rapper Swings has admitted to breaking up with influencer Im Bora after rumors surfaced six months ago.

On the 21st, rapper Swings posted on Instagram, "There have been talks about my breakup with Im Bora, whom I was dating, for almost half a year," adding, "I did not want to comment on this and remained silent until now, but after some time, I decided that it was necessary to bring closure, so I am informing you like this," thereby acknowledging the breakup.

He continued, "Im Bora and I have indeed parted ways, but we continue to support each other's futures."

Previously, after dating rumors broke out in 2017, Swings confirmed their relationship by posting a photo of Im Bora on his Instagram about a month later, officially becoming a public couple.

Swings, who is nine years older than Im Bora, attracted attention for losing 23 kg while dating her. Recently, he revealed that he gained 25 kg back due to yo-yo dieting.

Then, in June, all photos and videos of Swings and Im Bora together were deleted from their Instagram and YouTube accounts, sparking breakup rumors. Neither Im Bora nor Swings made any definitive statements regarding the breakup.

Meanwhile, Im Bora, born in 1995, has worked as a fitting model for shopping malls and gained popularity for her resemblance to actresses Han Ye-seul and Oh Yeon-seo.

Swings debuted in 2008 with the EP album 'Upgrade' and gained attention for his bold remarks on Mnet's 'Show Me the Money.' He currently leads hip-hop labels such as Just Music, with artists including Giriboy, Black Nut, and C Jamm under his management.
