The Werther 2020 OST album, featuring all cast members from the 2020 performance including Um Ki-joon, Kai, Yoo Yeon-seok, Kyuhyun, Na Hyun-woo, Kim Ye-won, Lee Ji-hye, Lee Sang-hyun, Park Eun-seok, Kim Hyun-sook, Choi Na-rae, Song Yoo-taek, and Lim Jun-hyuk, contains a total of 30 tracks including major numbers from 'Werther' such as 'Forbidden Flower,' 'Legend of Jaseoksan,' 'What to Do with This Heart,' 'One Night is a Thousand Years,' and 'If I Cannot Take a Step.' It will be available for purchase at the MD store inside the theater starting from the 29th, and after the performance ends, it can be purchased online at the 'Lang MD Store' from November 5th.
The 15th anniversary OST, recorded by the pre-cast of the 2015 season including Um Ki-joon, Jo Seung-woo, and Kyuhyun, will also be sold at the MD store inside the theater starting from the 27th.
The musical 'Werther' attracted attention at its premiere in 2000 with a five-member chamber ensemble composed of piano and string instruments, and won the Musical Music Award at the 2001 'Korea Musical Awards.'
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the original musical 'Werther' is based on the novel 'The Sorrows of Young Werther' by the great German writer Goethe, which tells the sublime love story of 'Werther' and 'Lotte,' adapted to suit Korean sensibilities and premiered in 2000.
The performance runs at the BBCH Hall of the Kwanglim Arts Center until November 1st.
