Park Gyeha Mong Etoile CEO Joins 114th Gwangju Honor Society Member

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Park Gyeha, CEO of Mong Etoile Dancheong Bakery, has joined the 114th Gwangju Honor Society.


According to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea on the 21st, CEO Park pledged to pay 100 million won in full and participated in spreading the culture of sharing in the local community.


The joining ceremony was attended by Han Sangwon, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea; Koo Jegil, Chairman of the Gwangju Honor Society; Baek Seok, the 3rd Honor member; Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea; Park Gyeha, CEO of Mong Etoile Dancheong Bakery; and Park Gyeha’s family.


CEO Park said, “The weather has become very cold at the beginning of winter. It feels like the cold has come unusually early this year.” He added, “I hope many neighbors in the local community will have a warm winter both in body and mind through this donation.”


Meanwhile, the Honor Society is a group of high-value donors who have donated 100 million won or more, established by the Community Chest of Korea in December 2007. It was started to promote the activation of individual donations and the spread of a mature donation culture to ensure the stable development of the social community. Members qualify by pledging to pay the donation either in a lump sum or within five years.


In the Gwangju area, starting with the first member joining in 2010, a total of 114 members including CEO Park Gyeha who joined today, as well as 3 Familia Honor members and 13 Couple Honor members, are leading the culture of sharing in the Gwangju region.
