[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Nambu Airport Service and the National Airport Labor Union signed a collective agreement on the 21st.

Recently, the airport industry has been experiencing discord between labor and management due to conflicts such as the so-called 'Incheon Airport Corporation Incident,' which occurred when Incheon International Airport Corporation regularized non-regular workers.

In this situation, Nambu Airport Service negotiated with the union on coexistence cooperation and company development, achieving a broad agreement between the company and the union without being shaken by external noise, setting an example of a model collective agreement among airport industry subsidiaries.

The company and the union are evaluated to have made efforts through several discussions to produce a result that was reasonable and satisfactory for both parties.

Cho Young-jin, president of Nambu Airport Service, explained, "Although there were disagreements during several discussions, we reached the agreement on a magnanimous level because we shared the same goal of mutual development."
