[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] National actor Ahn Sung-ki has been reported to be hospitalized for more than ten days.


On the 20th, Newsen cited a film industry insider, reporting, "Ahn Sung-ki has been hospitalized at a general hospital in Seoul for over ten days."


The insider said, "He was urgently admitted to a hospital in Seoul around October 8th and has since been transferred to another hospital for treatment."


Ahn Sung-ki, who visited a hospital in Seoul in early October due to a sudden illness, is said to have stabilized somewhat and was moved to another hospital in Seoul.


Aside from the news of an unexpected illness, the specific diagnosis has not been confirmed.


Meanwhile, Ahn Sung-ki, who has been actively working on various projects, has shown a reclusive appearance this month, unlike his usual activities, raising curiosity. In particular, the film "Paper Flower," which he stars in and is set to be released on October 22nd, has not held any promotional events.


It is also reported that he will not attend the opening ceremony of the Asiana Short Film Festival, which begins on the same day.
