KMH Group to Build New Headquarters in Godeok Biz Valley

Scheduled for Completion in 2022, 6 Basement Floors and 10 Above Ground

[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] KMH Group, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new headquarters at Godeok Business Valley in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The ceremony, held on the 19th, was attended by Han Chansu, CEO of KMH, Lee Uicheol, CEO of Asia Economy, representatives and executives from major KMH Group affiliates, and officials from CJ Logistics, the construction company for the new headquarters.

The new headquarters will have 6 basement floors and 10 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 19,632㎡, and is scheduled for completion in 2022. The 1st and 2nd floors of the building will be designated as rental spaces for local residents, young startups, and the general public.

CEO Han stated, "KMH, which took its first step 20 years ago in a small office in Jongno, has expanded its business areas to media, IT, security, and leisure," adding, "As the construction of the new headquarters embodying the group's vision begins, we will secure new growth engines and achieve quality growth."

Since its establishment in 2000, KMH Group has maintained its position as the number one domestic broadcaster with major affiliates including KMH, Asia Economy, four country clubs, semiconductor parts and materials company KMH Hightech, and network security specialist NexG.
