[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte World Tower and Mall are hosting a hero-themed Halloween festival in collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea until November 1.

This Lotte World Tower Halloween festival was planned with the meaning that we all become heroes together to overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This year, in collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea, which features globally popular Marvel heroes, they have prepared a nighttime Marvel media show, costume performances, and social network service (SNS) events.

On the exterior wall of Lotte World Tower, Marvel Avengers logos and popular characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man will be displayed as a media facade for 10 minutes at every hour and half-hour until November 1. On the exterior wall of Lotte World Mall, a Marvel media show using gobos will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Inside the tower and mall, models of popular Marvel heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Hulk will be placed throughout to provide enjoyment to visitors.

Various events will be held on the main stage at the World Park Lawn Plaza from October 30 to November 1. On the evenings of the 30th and 31st from 7 p.m., about 10 members of the RZ Heroes team dressed as Marvel heroes will reenact scenes from the movies in a Marvel costume performance, along with a magic show themed around Doctor Strange.

Visitors to the event can enjoy Halloween atmosphere by participating in a Halloween painting experience booth, where they draw on special film and attach it like a sticker to masks as mask painting. A flea market selling various Halloween items such as Marvel licensed market goods, candles, stickers, costumes, and candy will also be operated.

Lotte World Tower’s official SNS accounts will also hold mission events. During the mission period, participants can find Avengers character models hidden inside Lotte World Tower and Mall, as well as approximately 4-meter-large Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield installed at the World Park Lawn Plaza, take certification photos, and upload them with hashtags on their personal SNS accounts to enter the contest.
