Kim Woong Criticizes Choo Mi-ae's Command Authority Activation as "Trying to Use Prosecutors as Private Soldiers"

[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Kim Woong, a member of the People Power Party, criticized Minister of Justice Choo Mi-ae's exercise of investigative command authority as "a declaration to use the prosecution as their personal army."

On the 20th, Kim wrote on his Facebook, "The personal army will act as agents to cover up the tears of thousands of victims and conceal power-related corruption."

Author of 'Inside the Prosecutor's Office,' Kim resigned from his prosecutor position ahead of this year's general election and joined the People Power Party. He resigned over Minister Choo's 'prosecutorial reform' and ran for the Songpa Gap district in the April 15 general election, where he was elected.
