bhc Chicken, 35% Increase in Average Monthly Sales per Franchise in Q3 Compared to Last Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] bhc Chicken announced on the 19th that the average monthly sales per franchise store in the third quarter of this year increased by 35% compared to the previous year.

bhc Chicken achieved true mutual growth between the headquarters and franchise stores, with last year's sales surpassing 300 billion won and the average annual sales per franchise store increasing by 40% compared to the previous year. Furthermore, following the continuous rise in average monthly sales per franchise store in the first half of this year, the third quarter saw a 35% increase and record-high sales, forecasting that the headquarters' year-end sales will exceed 400 billion won.

In particular, the rise in average monthly sales per franchise store this year was not limited to a specific period but consistently maintained double-digit growth. After reaching a peak in August, it was surpassed again in September, raising expectations for fourth-quarter performance.

bhc Chicken attributed these achievements to the headquarters' fundamental policy of faithfully fulfilling the inherent roles and responsibilities (R&R) between franchise stores and the headquarters. Franchise stores operate according to the headquarters' manual, while the headquarters actively conducts advertising, promotion, and marketing, including developing new menus more than twice a year, which has led to continuous growth.

The ongoing customer-focused QCS activities have also been a driving force behind bhc Chicken's upward trend. In fact, bhc Chicken is the first in the industry to directly operate a call center at headquarters that collects two-way feedback from customers and franchise owners, consistently implementing measures that satisfy the needs of both customers and store owners.

As a result, compared to the previous year, the number of stores violating QCS standards decreased as of June this year, and consumer complaints dropped by approximately 70%, producing visible outcomes. Additionally, since the first half of this year, bhc Chicken has been focusing on hygiene and quality control under the slogan "Customer First," aiming to eliminate customer complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.

Kim Dong-han, head of the bhc Chicken Public Relations Team, stated, "Thanks to efforts such as mutual growth with franchise stores and continuous customer-focused QCS activities, the average monthly sales per franchise store have steadily increased. We will continue to do our best to ensure that franchise stores can achieve more stable and long-term profits based on customer-oriented management, transparent management, and mutual growth management."
