[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Mart presents comfort to men's underwear.
On the 19th, Lotte Mart announced that it will introduce a new men's underwear, 'Bonafit Men's Tencel Separable Drawers,' under its private brand (PB) 'Bonafit' at 100 stores. The 'Bonafit X Rashban Men's Separable Drawers' come in six types, each priced at 11,900 KRW.
The separable drawers sold this time are products specialized for men. An H-line silicone band that creates a separable structure is installed inside the underwear. When worn, the male body parts are naturally separated, allowing for comfort not only during light outings but also in daily life and exercise.
In addition, using 'Tencel,' an eco-friendly fiber made from wood, a soft texture was realized. Considering that wearing drawers usually causes a lot of sweat due to the waistband, a 'Dry Off' material that absorbs and dries was applied to the waist part to provide comfort when worn.
These separable drawers are introduced through collaboration between Lotte Mart and Rashban Korea, a specialized drawers company. Rashban Korea, which holds the world's first H-separation patent, won the 'Venture of the Year Award' from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2017. Last year, it signed a general agency contract in Japan and established a corporation in Singapore, proving its technological excellence both domestically and internationally.
Lotte Mart plans to introduce various underwear products such as running wear and innerwear in addition to men's drawers in collaboration with Rashban Korea in the future.
Lee Kyung-moo, Lotte Mart Underwear MD (Merchandiser), said, "We have launched a new concept underwear as a PB product that can provide comfort and freshness to men," and added, "We will continue to introduce cost-effective products that can bring comfort to customers' lives through collaboration with excellent companies."
