Disclosure of Late Park Won-soon's Memo, 10 Behavioral Guidelines... 'Sometimes Calls to Ask if There Are Any Concerns'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hanah Na] Former Seoul City Personnel Planning Secretary Min Kyung-guk posted a note titled "Mayor Park Won-soon's Memo" along with a photo of the memo on his Facebook on the 16th.

The late former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon's memo included contents such as "The secretariat staff are not my tools but subjects who strive for their own growth," "Check if there is anything to help for their development and actually assist," "Occasionally call them to ask if they have any worries or concerns," and "Memorize their names accurately and call them often."

He also wrote a total of 10 behavioral rules to be observed regarding the secretariat staff during his lifetime, including "Speak much more warmly and maintain a respectful tone," and "Maintain an equal and equitable attitude."

Former Secretary Min said, "A memo is memory. It goes beyond mere existence."

This post received a comment saying, "I hope the truth is revealed quickly."

Last month on the 22nd, former Secretary Min appeared on KBS Radio's "Kim Kyung-rae's Strong Current Affairs" and said about victim A in the sexual harassment allegations against former Mayor Park, "Within the scope of what I know, no one has heard A's complaints about sexual harassment," and "After the sexual harassment complaint, the transfer request, to my knowledge, there was no such case."

Meanwhile, victim A issued a statement on the 15th, the 100th day since filing a sexual harassment accusation against former Mayor Park, saying, "Amid an increasingly cruel environment of secondary damage, I feel despair wondering 'Can I stand up again?' but I gain strength thanks to the support gathered for me."
