On the 17th, according to media reports, the Dunsan Police Station in Daejeon received a complaint from Lim, who is currently engaged in a divorce lawsuit, requesting an investigation into netizens who posted malicious comments targeting him, and has launched an investigation.
It is known that the number of netizens sued exceeds 200. During the 5 years and 3 months of the divorce lawsuit, Lim is accused of defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act for posting malicious comments related to his background and property division issues on articles covering the related news.
Meanwhile, Lim married Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, in August 1999, but entered divorce mediation procedures in October 2014.
The Supreme Court ruled in January that President Lee has parental rights and custody of the children, and ordered Lim to pay 14.113 billion KRW for property division. The divorce lawsuit concluded after 5 years and 3 months.
