The first episode of Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 9,' which aired on the 16th, is a hip-hop survival program where contestants compete for the title of 'Young Boss,' the new leader of the Korean hip-hop scene. The show started in 2012 with season 1 and is now in its ninth season.
Not only Swings but also famous rappers such as Cox Billy, Geeks, Wonstein, and Lil Boi appeared as contestants on 'Show Me the Money 9,' drawing attention.
In the first episode, the group evaluation of the first preliminary round was revealed. Among them, a brief scene showed Swings making a lyrical mistake, raising interest in whether he passed or not.
In this preliminary round, Geeks and Lil Boi passed, while Chillinhommy, Noah Jooda, Wonstein, and former 'High School Rapper' contestant Ahn Byung-woong, runner-up Lee Rohan, and D.Ark also threw their hats into the ring, attracting attention.
Meanwhile, the winner of 'Show Me the Money 9' will receive the 'Young Boss' title, a prize of 100 million won, support for album production costs for one year, management and marketing expenses, totaling approximately 500 million won in support funds.
